System Operation

The Walz Load Scanner System operates by comparing empty scans of vehicles to their loaded scans.  Typically vehicles are fitted with RFID tags to automate this process, delivering a fully automated measurement system.  The scanner systems only need to be positioned above the moving vehicle to provide accurate load volumes and high definition load imagery.

Cary Back Monitoring

Monitor carry back on every load with the Walz Payload Scanner.  The image below shows carry back in a haul truck.  These images and actual load volumes are critical in determining actual production monitoring.  Alert drivers to carry back or automatically adjust production based on actual empty bed capacity.

Data Management

Fully portable system

Utilize existing mine infrastructure to perform real time production studies at any mine site.  The system can be powered by a 12 VDC power source and interfaces directly with our Payload Pro Software.  Volume calculations are provided back to the operator in less then 10 seconds.

Material Density in Real Time

Monitor material densities in real time when you integrate your Walz Load Scanner with your haul trucks onboard payload system or axle scale.  This feature is ideal for applications that can benefit from monitoring accurate material densities.  To further automate the process, Walz also offers dynamic or in-motion axle scales for use with our scanner system.  These portable scale systems allow for the weighing of vehicles in-motion.
