What are the main applications of the ZK830?

The ZK830 can operate as a dedicated counting scale, a high-resolution checkweigher, or a general-purpose bench balance. It is especially useful for component inventory, kitting, packing, and production control.

Can the ZK830 be used for legal-for-trade weighing?

Yes. Approved configurations support NTEP Class III operation at 10,000 divisions. High-resolution 100,000d operation and the counting function are not legal for trade, so the selected setup must match the intended transaction.

How long does the factory-fitted battery operate?

The internal battery can provide up to 16 hours of continuous use and typically recharges in about four hours. Actual runtime depends on the connected base, peripherals, and operating conditions.

Can the indicator be moved away from the base?

Yes. The indicator can be removed from the front of the BSQ base and used up to 50 ft away with a compatible mounting and cable arrangement.

Can a second weighing base be connected?

Yes. The ZK830 can use its local BSQ base plus one compatible remote base. The remote keypad is required to select the second base.

What affects parts-counting accuracy?

Piece-weight consistency, sample size, vibration, drafts, temperature changes, static electricity, moisture, and the selected accuracy setting can all affect results. A stable installation and representative sample improve performance.

The ZK830 brings high-resolution parts counting, target checkweighing, and general bench weighing together in a durable system built for industrial inventory and production work.
