Walz Scale onsite load testing services ensures compliance with regulatory and certifying authority requirements for periodic crane and hoist load testing.
OSHA standards require all active cranes to be inspected annually by, or under the direction of, an authorized crane inspector with a minimum of 2,000 field hours of experience directly relating to crane and hoist equipment maintenance, servicing, repairing, modifying, and functional testing.
At Walz Scale, we have the experience, expertise, and equipment needed to test your equipment. Our engineers oversee all operations to ensure strict compliance with API, OSHA, ASME, NSTE, IMO and all other relevant standards.
We maintain a wide range of calibrated weights for on-site load testing and have carts available up to 125t. All of our weights have certification of accuracy by the state of Illinois We maintain all equipment necessary to test a range of load-carrying devices and will provide a certification of proof load test results for your organization.
