How does Walz MH-15 Material Handler Scale Work?

The Walz MH-15 Material Handler Scale allows for weighing on any free swinging attachment such as Grapples, Magnets, and Clam Shell Buckets. The scale is manufactured machine and attachment specific with precisely engineered top and bottom connections connecting the weighing element between the machine stick and attachment. With a highly accurate double ended shear beam truck scale load cell, any load picked up will be shown and displayed as live weight reading. Scale can capture the weight in-motion and/or statically. Each load totaled accumulates until operator totals out.

Can the MH-15 be moved from machine to machine?

Highly unlikely unless the machine and attachment have identical pin diameters. Since the scale is built machine and attachment model specific, it is typical for the top and bottom connection of the scale being different between each machine. It is best to consult with Walz Scale before moving a MH-15 scale to a different machine.

What is needed for installation of the MH-15?

It is recommended for this scale to be professionally installed on-site by a Walz Scale Technician with calibration and operator training.

How accurate is the MH-15 scale?

The MH-15 Material Handler scale is accurate statically at ½% to 1% error and in-motion at 1-2% error.

What options are available?

The MH-15 Material Handler Scale has a few options such as an on-board printer and the option to send data from the scale directly to a tablet/PLC in an Excel format.
