Can I order a ZT kit without confirming truck-scale compatibility?

No. The current kits are designed for specific new-scale or retrofit applications and require a ZM605 or ZM615 indicator. We will confirm the scale model, width, deck count, profile height, and installation details before quoting.

Does the ZT system require a junction box?

No. The cells connect through a secure digital backbone using Amphenol LTW X-Lok connectors, eliminating the conventional junction box and hand-wired terminations.

How many ZT cells can one system support?

A compatible ZM605 or ZM615 can manage up to 32 logically addressed cells across two networks, with up to 16 cells on each network.

What diagnostics are available?

The system monitors communications, live cell weight, temperature, overload events, peak weight, scale loading, and other faults. Alerts can be shown on-screen and recorded for service review.

Can the scale continue operating if one cell fails?

The Ghosting feature can temporarily maintain operation after a sensor failure, but only in non-trade-approved mode. The failed cell still requires prompt service.

What environmental protection does the ZT provide?

The stainless cell and connectors are rated IP68, while the hermetic cell-cable entry is rated IP69K. Integrated surge suppression and protected data cabling support severe outdoor environments.

Are ZT systems legal for trade?

The ZT cell carries NTEP Class IIIL 10,000d approval under CC 21-086 and OIML R60 C6 approval. The complete scale application, indicator, installation, and operating mode must also meet the applicable requirements.

Avery Weigh-Tronix ZT 66,000 lb digital load cell system kits with IP68/IP69K protection, NTEP Class IIIL 10,000d approval, secure diagnostics, and one- to five-deck configurations.

The ZT is a 66,000 lb digital compression load cell built for accurate, connected heavy-capacity weighing. Each cell is factory calibrated and pre-linearized, then connected through a secure RS485 network that provides live diagnostics without a conventional junction box.

Current price-book configurations are complete one- through five-deck truck-scale kits for new compatible scales or retrofit projects. Every application requires a ZM605 or ZM615 indicator and a compatibility review, so these configurations are available by RFQ rather than direct checkout.
